Revised WB forms available for optional use October 1, 2026
The Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board (REEB) revised several approved (WB) forms to implement changes made by 2025 Wisconsin Act 69. The revised forms are available for optional use beginning October 1, 2026, and will be mandatory beginning January 1, 2027.
The revisions include new requirements for public marketing of residential property, changes to compensation provisions in listing contracts and buyer agency agreements, and new provisions addressing seller payment of a buyer's firm's compensation in offers to purchase and options to purchase.
The revised forms also contain other updates and clarifications throughout.

When do licensees need to use the revised forms?
Licensees may begin using the revised forms on October 1, 2026. Use of the revised forms becomes mandatory January 1, 2027.

The revised WB forms will be available in Transactions (zipForm Edition) and the WRA Forms Library.

Forms development
The WB forms are prepared and approved for use by the REEB. Prior to approval, drafts are reviewed by the WRA forms committee, chaired by REALTOR® Tom Sykora, and comments are forwarded on to the DSPS real estate contractual forms advisory committee. Once the DSPS state forms are finalized, WRA-drafted forms are examined to see if changes are warranted.
