Forms

Several forms commonly used in Wisconsin real estate practice received updates in 2024 that affect your transactions.

What changed in 2024?

Several Wisconsin real estate practice forms were updated in 2024 to align with the real estate practice changes stemming from NAR’s proposed settlement agreement. The revisions to these forms, approved by the Real Estate Examining Board (REEB), aim to enhance consumer transparency regarding commission and compensation.

The revised forms include listing contracts, buyer agency and tenant representation agreements, offers to purchase, and the option to purchase — all with a mandatory use date of August 15, 2024:

  • Listing contracts: WB-1, WB-2, WB-3, WB-4, WB-5, WB-6, WB-37
  • Buyer agency agreements: WB-36, WB-38
  • Tenant representation agreement: WB-39
  • Offers to purchase: WB-11, WB-12, WB-13, WB-14, WB-15, WB-16, WB-17
  • Option to purchase: WB-24

2025: what’s next?

As always, look to the WRA to notify you of any new or modified forms in 2025.
