Partnership

The WRA’s Partnership for Success Program aims to promote diversity within REALTOR® membership. The program invites new licensees from all walks of life to apply. This includes licensees with different life experiences, backgrounds, expertise, interests, viewpoints, characteristics and other qualities. The program creates a partnership between the applicant, their sponsoring broker and the WRA. Having a rich mix of agents adds to the real estate industry, and the program strives to enhance long-term success for committed licensees who are new to the real estate profession.

The WRA and the WRA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee administer the program. The applicant, their mentor and their sponsoring broker are interviewed by the committee, and the committee makes the decision whether to grant the award to the applicant.

Program expectations and ideal candidate guidelines

  • Newly licensed agent within the past year.
  • Commitment to developing the agent’s real estate career.
  • Sponsoring broker and mentor must complete an application and show the ability to support the candidate.

2025 program recipients will receive one year of REALTOR® membership dues and six months of MLS fees to be used for 2026 dues and fees. At this time, the program no longer offers a second year of dues.

The application process for new recipients opens on May 1, 2025.
