quarterly surveys, the WRA can protect their interests and
rights with legislation geared toward keeping housing affordable
and fair.
History
The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association was formed more than 90
years ago. Although the market of 1909 is different from today,
the basic needs of professional REALTORS® has remained the
same. Originally, the WRA was the Wisconsin Association of Real
Estate Brokers, formed with 209 members in Green Bay. Its
purpose was to create a strong,
statewide organization of real estate brokers and to standardize
the real estate practice. Eventually, the association moved to
Milwaukee and in 1962 found its current home in Madison. |
