A. Local GAD stands for Local Government Affairs Director. We have seven regions and each one has a Local GAD that address their issues.

Q. What are Local Government Affairs Director Responsibilities?
A. Effectively design and manage the political activities of the association in a manner that improves the short and long term potential for legislative success.

To effectively identify and manage local public policy issues, (and in coordination with WRA and NAR, state and federal issues), that impact the real estate industry and association members in a manner that improves the short and long term potential for legislative success.

To design and execute effective and timely communications with elected officials, members, media, staff and the general public in a manner that improves the short and long term potential for legislative success.
